Joanne Broh Band featuring Garry Meziere’s “Head Full of Trouble” is a superb collaboration of musicians, song writers, and recording engineer for a stylistically eloquent nod to an amazing balance of soul blues, roots rock, funk and some downright jazzy smooth ditties.
Joanne’s vocals carry song after song. She is sassy, she is smooth and she speaks directly to the listener. Garry Meziere’s lead guitar is the equal of anything you will ever hear.
Jon Brand on bass and Ed Pierce on drums are the solid and imaginative rhythm section.
Stellar players contributing to the recording include Gus Russell and Pat McDougall on keys and organ, Linda Kanter and Tony Johnson, sax, Dave Bender, trumpet, Jerry Zybach, rhythm guitar (“Lock and Key”) , Joe McCarthy horn section (“I Believe”)
Engineered, mixed, and mastered by Don Ross, Don Ross Productions. Produced by Garry Meziere and Joanne Broh
All songs are original compositions by Garry Meziere, Joanne Broh (“Down the Line”), Jerry Zybach (“Lock and Key”), Paul Rishell (“Blues on a Holiday”)
