Music

Joanne Broh Band's new release, "Wicked Cool", is a superb collaboration of musicians, song writers, and recording engineer for a stylistically eloquent nod to rockin' blues and soul.

All songs are original compositions by West Coast artists. The music ranges from searing to soulful with impeccable guitar leads from Jerry Zybach and a solid and imaginative rhythm section: Jim Badalich on bass and Dan e. Miller playing drums.

The band collaborates with fearless blues players Hank Shreve and Mitch Kashmar, blues harp; Dana Heitman (the Daddies); a stellar horn section featuring Dave Bender and Sean Flannery, trumpets, and Linda Kanter, sax. Horns arranged by Joe McCarthy.

Joanne Broh's unique voice is sublime on all tracks and expresses the emotional distinction of each song.

We are very happy to be promoted by Todd Glazer, recipient 2015 Keeping the Blues Alive Award by The Blues Foundation.
